Welcome to the home of Mamik Jack. We are a group of teenagers at First Baptist Church who are using the talents the Lord gave us to praise Him. We got our name from a recent trip that the youth group went on. We went repelling off of a mountain and we were told by our instructors that if we did a 360 dgree turn then we would be mamik jack. Since we liked the term we decided to use it as our band's name. The way to be mamik jack in the sport of life is to follow Christ and live in His light. We are made up of all different age groups. Our lead singer is Jeff Watson. He moved here from Conway a year ago. Danny Haflich is the lead guitarist. He is the youth leader at First Baptist and a bigger kid than some of us!! Michelle McCain is a back-up singer. She is a junior at Forrest City High School. Allison Oates is also a back-up singer and a junior at FCHS. Lindsey Jones is a back-up singer and is a junior at Wynne High School. Stephanie Watson is a sophmore at Palestine-Wheatley High School. Brandon Hood is the bass player. He attends college at EACC. Marc Hemme is our only male back-up singer, but he raps too. He also attends college at EACC. Jason Brown is the drummer. He is a senior at FCHS. He will be attending ASU this Fall on a band scholarship. We enjoy what we do and want no credit for it. We would not be able to do any of this if it wasn't for God's help. We also want to thank all of you for supporting us so much!!!
